And yes, that cover is just gorgeous! I haven't heard many people's thoughts on this though which is good because I don't want to worry about hype. I also didn't expect this to be a western. I haven't read any western novels actually so I hope I enjoy this one because it sounds amazing.

~Karina @ A Reader Under The SeaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16650030444445622187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7311467534427600817.post-43241594015363802632015-08-17T11:18:23.026-04:002015-08-17T11:18:23.026-04:00I really liked the setting and the feel of the wes...I really liked the setting and the feel of the western aspects of this novel. I've read a few western novels though, and this one didn't really stand out to me. :/ I loved the historical accuracy of this novel, and it totally reminded me of APUSH ! ;)

Rachel @ A Perfection Called BooksRachel https://www.blogger.com/profile/06616299360211920794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7311467534427600817.post-53069617767356304162015-08-17T09:33:07.328-04:002015-08-17T09:33:07.328-04:00Great review Jessica! This book has been on mu wishlist ever since I heard about it, and even more so now :) I studied the Wild West for my GCSEs a few years ago, and we never really did much about the gold rush, though it has always seemed interesting. I sort of love reading books where the heroine is pretending to be someone else, and this seems to be perfect for that.

- Sophie @ Sophie Reads YASophie Houghtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17979216765014916005noreply@blogger.com
