Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Loved but Will Never Re-Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl in which we create bookish lists about everything from our favorite characters to love triangles and everything in between!
This Week's Topic: Books I Loved but Will Never Re-Read
I actually love this weeks topic! There are so many books that I loved but never really felt the need to re-read. Granted over time I'll probably end up re-reading them (because all I do is re-read).

1. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

2. Divergent by Veronica Roth

3. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

4. A Map For Wrecked Girls by Jessica Taylor

5. Delirium by Lauren Oliver

6. Lailah by Nikki Kelly

7. The Selection by Kiera Cass

8. White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout

9. Please Don't Tell by Laura Tims

10. They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

So these are some of books I've loved but never really felt the need to re-read. We all have those books that we believe can only be read once. Let us know what yours are in the comments! We'd love to know!

  1. Both Divergent and The Selection were on my list too. I am not a huge re-reader, so a book has to be really important for me to read it again. Back in the day, Divergent used to be my favorite series, but the ending of Allegiant has made me hesitant to re-read the series knowing the pain that will be in store. With The Selection, I already know how the romance ends, which was the biggest part of the plot, so I don't think I have to go through all three books again. I loved getting caught up in the romance during the first read, but the whirlwind romance probably would not have the same effect for me the second time.

On the other hand, I am probably going to re-read The Red Queen pretty soon in preparation to finish the series. Even though I really enjoyed The Red Queen, I never started The Glass Sword. So, I want to brush up on the story before continuing, which is pretty much the only time I re-read books.
